Victorian Kitchen Extension

While we’re known for working on large renovation projects and one-off new builds, we also undertake a range of smaller projects including renovations, remodelling work and compact extensions.

Our wonderful clients for this Jesmond project contacted us when they bought their new house; they inherited a side-return extension but it was dark, disjointed and lacked the flow and natural light they craved. Our simple interventions involved the removal of a series of walls and structural columns, opening up the rear of the house. Finally, we installed this beautiful glass roof to create an elegant family kitchen.

Redesigning the kitchen also allowed us to re-plan the ground floor to incorporate a bedroom and shower room for a dependent relative. The result is a multi-generation family home, that meets the needs of today but is adaptable for the future.
